Standard Terms & Conditions for Ceremonies

1.  A non-refundable Deposit of £50 that covers initial administrative costs will secure your booking.   Until cleared payment has been received the booking cannot be secured.

2.  Full payment for the ceremony will be required a minimum of 12 weeks prior to the date of the ceremony. 

3.  Cancellation Policy:

In the event that you need to cancel a Ceremony you will be required to provide a minimum of 11 weeks notice in writing to be eligible for a full refund exclusive of the Deposit.  Any cancellation outside of this timescale will also need to be made in writing and will be subject to the following guidelines:-

6 to10 weeks notice of cancellation – 50% refund exclusive of Deposit.

Less than 6 weeks notice of cancellation (or failure to cancel) – no refund.

4.  Prices include (excluding Script Only Ceremony Packs):

·    Travel up to 20 miles each way to the venue on the day of the Ceremony

·    A meeting before Ceremony date (within 20 miles each way of Celebrant’s base) and telephone and e-mail contact

·    Attendance of Celebrant at the venue and conducting the Ceremony

·    An Embossed Ceremony Certificate in Commemorative Folder

Additional fees apply for extra travel over 20 miles from the Celebrant’s base to and from the meeting place/venue.  Other fees may be incurred relating to personal requirements and venue location, or any special requirements as agreed in advance.

5.  All Ceremonies are conducted at the discretion of Orchid Ceremonies Limited.
