Naming Day Ceremony

All Naming Day Ceremonies are bespoke and conducted by a friendly professional Celebrant.  Your Ceremony will be written especially for you to ensure that your day is full of beautiful memories that you will treasure forever.

Bespoke Naming Day Ceremony conducted by a Professional Celebrant: = £250 (inclusive of £50 non-refundable deposit)

Additional personalised Certificate for Godparent, Guardian or Grandparent that includes the promise made during the Naming Ceremony = £5 each

When Orchid Ceremonies has confirmed the availability of a friendly professional Celebrant to conduct your Naming Day Ceremony on the day and at the time of your choice, the date and time will be secured for you when your deposit of £50 (non-refundable) has been paid.   All fees associated with your Naming Ceremony must be paid in full prior to the ceremony date.

Naming Ceremonies can be held for babies and older children as well, and the experienced team at Orchid Ceremonies will guide and work with you to ensure that your Naming Day occasion is very special and memorable, and just as you would like it to be.

Your Celebrant will include poems and readings of your choice, and music and songs if that’s what you would like in your ceremony.  A Naming Ceremony can take place indoors or outdoors (weather permitting!), in a hotel or at your home – the venue is your choice!

You can appoint as many Godparents, Guardians or Special Friends as you would like, and these people will be included in the ceremony by making special promises to your child on the day.  Perhaps the Grandparents would like to make special promises too!  As a beautiful touch, you may like these special people in the child’s life to receive an embossed Naming Day Certificate that is signed and sets out the promises they have made – at only £5 for each certificate, it’s a gorgeous keepsake of such a wonderful day.
